Directs research which fosters multi-cultural studies for the local community in the PsychoSpiritual systems of world religions.
S.A.P.S.E sponsors adult-education classes, seminars, and workshops. S.A.P.S.E. houses a developing library in psychology and religion, and is made available to the local community-at-large.

Taught adult-education classes to residents and outreach programs to the local community in the psychological health components of eastern and western religious thought. Designed a clinical assessment/strategy program in multi-cultural spirituality for Addictions Medicine which was integrated into the medical record system.

Implemented a spiritual assessment/treatment program for Adult Addictions, Adult and Adolescent Dual Diagnosis Units, and the Women's Center at Ridgeview, which included the creation of a specialized spiritual program for impaired professionals (e.g. teachers, clergy, medical doctors and nurses) participating from all regions in the United States.

Was guest lecturer in 19th and 20th century western literature and religion under the university president's special appointment program. 1980-1981

As Resident Scholar at the Hill Monastic Manuscript Library (St. John's Abbey & University,Collegeville.MN) was invited to perform a 14th century manuscript discovered in the library with a "collegium musicum" for network television. 1979-1980

Received a three-year recording contract (1967 )with Columbia/Epic Records (New York, NY), with two record releases charted nationally in Record World and Billboard Magazines. Received an album contract (1972) with Captol Records (Los Angeles, CA) and was awarded contract with The Society for Composers, Authors and Publishers for original compositions.

In 1982 Dr. Lundgren recorded an album of original compositions entitled Time of the Harvest: Songs for Three Voices, St. John's Abbey, Liturgical Press Collegeville, MN.
In 1992 Dr. Lundgren recorded a collection of original compositions entitled Breaking Open, Alexander Zayne Records, Atlanta, GA.

In 2003 Dr. Lundgren published a CD of original compositions with the world-fusion ensemble Cypress, entitled Pouring Light, Blue Tree Records, Atlanta, GA.
