SAPSE's "preparatory
school for the soul" chooses the way of integral wisdom
which is inclusive in its approach. Its method is primarily
dialectical rather than categorical. That is, SAPSE does
not view one belief system or wisdom school as categorically
the "true one" nor does does SAPSE overlook key
differences between them. All of the wisdom paths are partially
correct in their insights, but one errs in thinking that
any one of them have “the” answer. |

Beyond
this and underlying it, SAPSE envisions the fields of psychology,
philosophy, religion, etc. as expressions within boundaries
of that which is ultimately unbounded and cannot be adequately
conveyed in words or symbols. SAPSE recognizes, however,
that the ultimate goal of self-development is beyond the
reach of any relative methodology or precise description.
SAPSE also makes explicit the demand upon its educators
and mentors to be honest about their own limits of personal,
spiritual development. There are few who can say honestly
and without hypocrisy that they have reached and are established
in what is beyond even the imaginable horizon of human
potential.
SAPSE is as well dedicated to assisting seekers who are members
of specific faith traditions in accessing the hermetic or
esoteric treasures of their particular religion to the extent
of SAPSE's abilities. |
