Human Development Counseling utilizes safe methods and modalities which encourage inner growth and self-esteem to the extent that these further one's capacity for self-awareness, self-responsbility and, ultimately, self-mastery.

Human Development Counseling aims at increasing both the individual's self-motivation and skill in order to better meet life's challenges by building positive attitudes toward them.

    Dr. Lundgren provides counseling in self-improvement for individuals, couples, and groups. Dr. Lundgren also directs seminars, workshops and retreats on self-improvement techniques for daily life.

    Dr. Neale Lundgren’s Education

    Post-Doctoral Studies in Comparative Religions, 1993-present, with authors/publishers in the principal ideas of the world religions; such as, Thomas Hickey, Ph.D, Anton Armbruster, Ph.D, Abid Mohiuddin, M.D, Don E. Stevens (author of Man's Search for Certainty, Listen, Humanity, and The Inner Path in the New Life), and Daniel Ladinsky, Penguin best-selling author of sacred world-poetry (I Heard God Laughing, The Gift, and Love Poems from God).

    Ph.D in Philosophy, Psychology, & Religious Thought, 1988, Emory University, Atlanta, GA.
    (Awarded a cross-disciplinary doctorate incorporating the fields of psychological, philosophical, and religious thought in 19th-20th century Europe. Dissertation Topic: Religious Thought, Psychological Health, and World Views)

    M.A in Theology, 1982, St. John's University, Collegeville, MN.
    (As Benedictine monk undertook formal studies in theology and modern western-thought, counseling theory and pastoral counseling. Included extensive studies in literature and music from the 6th-20th centuries, with studies abroad in Greece, Egypt, and Israel in collaboration with Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel.)

    B.A in Philosophy, 1976, Loyola University, New Orleans, LA.
    (Completed comprehensive studies in major systems of western philosophy from its origins to American pragmatism. Included formal studies in classical guitar literature and concert performance under former student of Andres Segovia, Elias Barreiro, Tulane University, New Orleans, LA.)

    Dr. Lundgren is a member in good standing in the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling (ASERVIC).
